Alberta’s Ombudsman and a team of investigators will visit St. Paul and Bonnyville in mid-November.
The visit provides area residents an opportunity to meet with investigators if feel they have been treated unfairly by an Alberta government department, agency, board, commission, a designated professional body, or Alberta Health Services’ patient concerns office.
“We’ve been fanning out across Alberta since mid-2013 in a bid to help Albertans understand the services our office provides,” said Peter Hourihan, Alberta’s Ombudsman. “Through this, we’re able to reach communities that may not otherwise have direct, personal contact with a member of our staff.”
